Anti Aging Tip

Amino acids play a very significant role in anti aging.

Beautiful skin, healthy nails and lustrous, shiny hair are symbolic of youth and good health.  We all strive to keep these things for as long as possible. However, in order to do this and delay the aging process, a supply of these amino acids  is important.

Amino acids supply nutrients to nourish the skin, hair and nails from within the body. They serve to strengthens connective tissue and keeps the skin smooth and elastic, the nails firm and the hair strong.

Amino acid sources include:

Lean grass fed meats; Pasture raised chicken/turkey; pasture raised eggs and dairy; Seafood; Plant based proteins, nuts and seeds.

Why not consider  taking an amino acid supplement too :0)

Anti Aging Tip

The importance of  ‘telomere length” is the latest consideration when it comes to slowing aging. A telomere is a repeating sequence of DNA at the end of a chromosome.  As we grow older our telomere length shortens each time  our cells replicate. Eventually the telomere is so short it can no longer divide and replicate and  so our cells die. Cell death equates to premature aging and poor health. The key is to keep our telomere length long through  nutrition and exercise.  Exercising regularly helps preserve telomere length and keeps cells younger for longer.

Anti Aging Tip

Exercise is proven to be ‘anti-inflammatory.’

Studies show that people who exercise regularly/lead active lifestyles, have lower levels of inflammation. Lower levels of inflammation help the body stay younger for longer, inside and out!  :0)

#FitnessFriday FACT : Exercise is proven to be the most effective tool  against ANTI-AGING.   When you don’t exercise, the cells in your body conclude that they are no longer needed, and ‘die’.  This results in accelerated aging,  since the more cells you lose, the quicker you will age.  So, the key is to keep those cells, by making them feel useful and needed.  Then, they will remain and aging will occur at a much slower rate. Infact –  maybe not at all! 🙂
